Also introduced by Dapol at the same time were their catenary system NCAT1. This consists of a pack of ten single masts. The base is a screwed section that passes through a hole in the baseboard and held in place by the wing nut - also supplied. It would be difficult to attach wires but would still give the effect of having a catenary system, but cheaply. In addition, the wires would get in the way when one has the inevitable de-railment! (or is it just me?)
