RELEASED AUGUST 6th 2009
NO LONGER AVAILABLE FROM ME

This wagon was produced for the Corris Model Railway Show that was held over the August Bank Holiday, 2009 in the village school at Corris, right next door to the narrow gauge railway.

The show is an annual event, normally held in the town of Machynlleth, but due to the normal venue having been sold, the organisers had to hunt for pastures new.

Surprisingly they were able to use the local village school in the village of Corris, right next to the main station of the Corris Railway.

The wagon is fictitious and is a 4-plank open wagon.  A variety of different loads have been used, including coal, sand, bricks and wood planks.  Regretfully Dapol do not produce a slate load, but the keen modeller will no doubt be able to do that for themselves.  The wagon is supposed to represent a main-line wagon that would have taken slate from the narrow gauge to various destinations in the mainland, via the Cambrian main line across to Shrewsbury.

This is a grey liveried wagon with white lettering - shaded black.  It carries the number "1" and it is possible that the Corris Railway will repeat the wagon with a different number at some point.

120 of these models have been produced in the pristine condition - a further 40 are weathered.

These wagons were also on sale at the Corris Railway Museum

Quantity:  at  £0.00  each
