Second of a pair of wagons that bore the name of David Jones. However I know now that the two were not related.
This Mr Jones was a coal and builders merchant in Llandysul, Ceredigion.
This one bears the legend that he was a Coal, Lime, Brick and Slate Merchant.
I have met with the Llandysul man's grandson.
This wagon contains Dapol's new brick load - which is most impressive as seen on the Stephens Silica wagon (No: 39b)
129 of these models have been produced
Curiously, Dapol themselves are releasing the same wagon in 2011!
