This was the fourth wagon (*) released for the annual model railway show in Banbury. This one features a coal wagon used by the local Brewery, Hunt Edmonds

166 models have been produced - many of which have been assigned to the Banbury Model Railway Club
The show was a great success, though the good weather meant that numbers were lower than last year, however every one of these wagons sold out by early afternoon!
Now here's a funny thing.
The name of the brewery was NOT "Hunt Edmonds" but
"Hunt Edmunds" (spelt with an 'U')
The source of material used for this wagon is believed to be a very old copy of Railway Modeller in which a drawing of the wagon (but no picture) was shown, bearing the name on the wagon as 'Edmonds'. So this was the drawing sent to me by Banbury MRC, and consequently passed on to Dapol.
It didn't take former employees long to spot that one, and featured in the local Banbury press!
