RELEASED SEPTEMBER  2006

FOR THE

SHIREHAMPTON MODEL RAILWAY EXHIBITION
OCTOBER 21 2006
This 7 plank wagon is another black bodied one with white lettering unshaded and features a coal merchant based in Bristol.

Lettering reads
"Whitwill Cole & Co., Ltd     Bristol "

176 of these 00-gauge wagons were produced and transfers used to apply the running numbers in the '70x' range.

However for the Yate Show, a small batch of these models had special labels attached for the show and are numbered in the hundreds - eg 154.

A prominent feature of the wagon is that the central door is covered by a large red rectangle upon which is a white diagonal cross.

The Shirehampton show in 2005 was the first for the Shirehampton Model Railway Club.  Although small, the club has an enthusiastic group of members and the show was a great success.  The second show was also successful.

Finally sold out in January 2008

Quantity:  at  £0.00  each
