As usual each year I produce a wagon for friends and relatives to give the railway modeller/collector as a gift for Christmas. In 2008 it was a salt wagon in the livery of the Salt Union Works at Bromsgrove, SW of Birmingham.
The wagon moulding appears to be the older type salt van, with the wire handrails, but with the NEM style couplings that Dapol have adopted.
A total of 78 of the pristeen wagons have been produced, with a further 56 weathered
