West Wales Wagon Works

No: 21: William Thomas of Whitland

No: 21: William Thomas of Whitland

No: 21: William Thomas of Whitland

This coal wagon was run by a William Thomas, coal merchant of Whitland, Carmarthenshire.

The wagons would have been sent empty to collieries in the South Wales area, primarily those close to Kidwelly and Llanelli I would imagine.

Sometimes these may have also been seen on the lines radiating from Whitland - to Milford Haven, Pembroke, Fishguard and possibly Cardigan.

"Wm Thomas of Whitland" 170 coal wagons produced

Quantity:  at  £0.00  each
