No: 16: Ernest Reeves of Wokingham

This wagon the first to be produced for the annual Loddon Vale Show held in the Baptist Church Hall in Reading, May 2004.  However see my comments relating to the "Isaiah Gadd" wagon.

I mentioned before that I had a vested interest in the Wokingham area, as I was born and brought up there, well this was all the more so for this container wagon.   I used to work for these furniture removers as a summer holiday job.

Before anyone starts thinking about it, it was a long time after Reeves used rail-born containers like this.

The conflat wagon copied Dapol's own SR version but I chose a different running number - 39050.  I found three other models of the SR conflat wagon, by two different producers, and all three bore the same number 39047!

I have continued this theme in a later container wagon to be released in the Summer of 2006 - "Pimm & Son of Guildford"

The following year's Loddon Vale Show produced two wagons - "Huntley & Palmers of Reading" and "Drake & Mount of Bracknell".

THIS WAGON IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE

"Earnest Reeves of Wokingham" 93 container wagons produced

Quantity:  at  £0.00  each
