Previously attempted by me in 2006, but withdrawn following advice from Dapol due to difficulties with printing the red plank, it has now been ordered following Dapol's release of a "Hopton Wood" wagon that had a similar red stripe.
Crynant Colliery was in the Neath Valley and was served by the Neath & Brecon Railway running from Swansea Docks to Brecon.
The station to the south of Crynant (pronounced "cry nant") was Cefn Coed where there is a colliery museum, where this wagon has been sold as well.
435 of these wagons were produced with 209 bearing the number 332 and 223 having number 335. Of these 37 of the former, and 36 of the latter were weathered.
