FIRST BATCH RELEASED IN JULY 2008 SECOND BATCH IN OCTOBER

NEWS FLASH - One of these wagons was sold on Ebay for £26.10 on 25 January 2009 - so I must be doing something right!

In conjunction with the Wensleydale Creamery in Hawes, North Yorkshire, I got Dapol to do a milk tanker wagon bearing the creameries' logo of a cows head on it.

No, it's not authentic, but it is not just a fine model - it's a splendid model.  292 have been produced by Dapol of which one hundred are being be sold by the Creamery's shop.

Numbering of these wagons
With thanks to Blackham Transfers, I am applying numbers to the ends of the tank bodies.  All those sold in the Creameries shop will bear numbers in the 200 to 299 range (randomly chosen).

Numbers of the first batch, sold by me, were supposed to be in the 100 to 199 range, but due to transfers dropping off, a fair number came out bearing numbers below 100.

The second batch will again have numbers applied, and again those destined for the Creamery will have numbers in the 200 series.

My own second batch wagons should have numbers in the 300 to 399 range applied, but inevitably some will come out bearing numbers less than 100.
