As usual each year I produce a wagon for friends and relatives to give the railway modeller/collector as a gift for Christmas and this year I have chosen the "Stevens" wagon from Kidwelly in West Wales.
I had done this wagon in 00-gauge some years ago and it proved very popular. It looks an attractive wagon in a brown body colour.
The wagons did take coal to the works, for the production of bricks but also hauled loads of sand and bricks. Dapol do not currently produce loads of bricks, but the modeller may try his or her hand at a sand load easily enough. I have fitted a number of the wagons with sand (see item N028sm), but by ordering this one, I will send a Dapol plastic 'coal' load only. The picture shows an empty wagon.
Don't forget you can pay by card - just place an order using this page, but take the option at the end to "PAY BY POST" - then I get an email and we can get in touch for the card details.
If you are looking for the weathered version - sorry, you're too late. All sold out!
