This wagon was released in both N and 00 gauges, for the Loddon Vale MRC Show at Arborfield on May 10, 2008.
Originally produced in 00 by Mainline, and then by Dapol when they bought the former company, with both models bearing the running number "1", this one will have the number "2".
100 N-gauge wagons have been produced, and delivered earlier than expected in March.
20 of them were weathered - the FIRST 7-plank N-gauge production of Dapol's stock that has been so treated. However ONLY TWENTY, and they sold out in just three days.
Incidentally, Horlicks of Slough have one of the mint models for display in their museum in Slough. In return for this, they have sent me samples of their product, so early purchasers got a free sample.
