Previously done by Mainline, then repeated by Dapol in the 1980's - this wagon will differ slightly from it's prececessors by bearing the number '2' rather than '1'.
Why do the major manufacturers, including Dapol, produce stuff that's been done before - even down to the same running number?
The wagon, which will also be available in N gauge, is being released for the Loddon Vale MRC Show at Arborfield on Saturday May 10. All initial purchasers will also get a free sample of Horlicks, courtesy of Horlicks of Slough.
Body is in a red oxide colour with white lettering shaded black. Running number is "2".
I was tempted to make the loads sand - so that they look like the end product!
