You can order model railway wagons from West Wales Wagon Works through the shop section of this site. In the case of some items that are marked as being low in stock, it is best that you firstly let me know your requirements by email or phone (01239 712730).
If using Paypal or paying by credit/debit card using the shopping facility of this site, your wagons should be sent out within the week normally. For postal customers sending a cheque, there will be a delay whilst the cheque clears through the banking system (about a week) before I despatch the wagons.
For those reserving wagons by email or by letter, please note that I will hold those items for ONE WEEK - unless your are overseas when two weeks should be sufficient.
Should I not hear from you by the end of that week, they will be put back up for sale to whoever comes first. This is really only a problem when the desired wagon is getting low in stock.
WHAT IF I DON'T WANT TO USE THE INTERNET TO PAY?
You can still use the web site to order wagons. Order whatever wagons you want, but then when you go to the checkout, take the option to "Pay by Post". Print off your order and send this print together with a cheque to cover the amount, to me. At the same time, I will get an email letting me know that you want the wagons - so that I can put them by.
Regretfully some customers use this facility, but don't send the cheque straight away. This has resulted in some people being unlucky as their reserved wagon was put back in the pool for anyone else to buy!
I WANT TO ORDER QUITE A FEW WAGONS, BUT THE POSTAGE ADDITION IS VERY EXPENSIVE?
If you intend to order 4 or more wagons, please get in touch with me to find out what reduction I can make for you. For example, the system will automatically add a sum for each wagon ordered (currently £1.80) but it does not cost me over £7 to send 4 wagons..... On the other side, however, if someone orders just one wagon, it does cost me more than £1. Hence, following the April 2009 postage rise, I have had to raise my basic postage/packing charge.
